Amateur ballerina Ksenia Karelina, unjustly imprisoned on Biden’s watch, is heading home to the land of the free

President Donald Trump is having one of the best weeks of his presidency. The stock market surged on Wednesday after Trump declared victory against unfair trade practices. He also ended the Obama-Biden “war on water pressure” and “make America’s showers great again” by signing an executive order to reverse years of unpopular Democratic policies designed to promote “efficiency and conservation.” On Thursday, Trump succeeded again in making the world a better place by securing the release of Ksenia Karelina, the hot ballerina and U.S.-Russian national unjustly imprisoned in Russia for treason. To our knowledge, Karelina is the most attractive American ever released as part of a negotiated prisoner swap. Historic!
“American Ksenia Karelina is on a plane back home to the United States. She was wrongfully detained by Russia for over a year and President Trump secured her release,” Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced on X.
Ksenia, 33, was born in Russia and became a U.S. citizen in 2021 after immigrating to Los Angeles.
She was arrested in Russia (on Biden’s watch) in February 2024 and charged with treason for allegedly donating $50 to a New York-based charity that provides non-military aid to Ukraine.
Several months after her arrest, Ksenia was convicted and sentenced to 12 years in prison. The trial was a sham, but that didn’t stop her from looking hot.
Biden failed to secure Ksenia’s release in the final months of his presidency, but he did pardon his son Hunter and other members of his family.
In 2022, Biden released Viktor Bout, a notorious arms dealer nicknamed “The Merchant of Death,” for Brittney Griner, a mid-level WNBA player arrested in the Moscow for smuggling drugs.
Now that she’s free, Ksenia can get back to doing what she loves. Practicing ballet at the beach, for instance.
Welcome home!
